I know this is always a cranky topic with people by some of the blogs I read so I won't get to far into my opinions on things. Though one I really did care about was not the presidential election but the Prop 8 banning same sex marriages. When it comes to these type of things I usually have the same thought. Who am I to tell someone what they can and can't do with there life. I know what I would do but why do we all need to feel like we have to push our beliefs on others. Everyone believes their own thing, so let it be.

After being married just 3-4 weeks ago and the joy I felt watching Laura walk down the aisle knowing Im spending the rest of my life with her, who am I to take that away from a gay couple? I went to a wedding a few months back of two gay men and it was just great the way you could tell how much they loved each other. I know everyone says they all get the benefits and such but I don't understand why we need to take away that hapiness knowing that they are official?

Reading a lot of blogs this week people quote the bible and shout "adam and eve, not adam and steve". I believe in god and the bible don't get me wrong but if we went by everything it said things would be much different around here (example) slavery would still be around.

Well Im sitting her in my apartment with my wedding less then 3 hours away. I feel really good about tonight and for some reason am not nervous at all. Could be that we've been together for over 4 years and I have nothing to be nervous about, could be Im numb and not thinking straight, or could be that we are in for a major meltdown once I get to the altar, or d all of the above.

But I think things will go good tonight, had a couple hickups this morning with the vendors but it all looked good when I left. We'll try to post a few pictures up before we leave monday to hold everyone over till we get back.

Almost Time

Well the wedding is about 28 hours away, and I have to say Im doing better then I thought. I figure Id be nervous, anxious, shaking, sweating, curled up, etc. But Im sitting here watching a scary movie waiting for the rehearsal and Im feeling pretty good. I think the fact we've been together over 4 years makes it not as nervy as usual. Tomorrow will be a lot of fun and Im looking forward to meeting the rest of Lauras family as well as seeing a lot of my old friends and new friends come together for a big party. Im just imagining 7 days from now as well Ill be on a beach relaxing knowing that all that hard work planning this wedding paid off. Laura did most the work though I just did a bit :)

Maybe Ill blog tomorrow, we'll see how things are going if not Ill post up some pictures as the weeek goes either on here or myspace.

Ok probably only a few of us remember that commercial, but that's how I feel right now. I decided to wait 3 days before the wedding to get the throat of death. So today Im stocked up on every and any medicine made that Albertsons stocks. The best part was when I bought some Zicam they asked for my ID to make sure I wasn't making Meth. I really though I was out of Riverside but I guess the trend is spreading here. I have 2 days to get better or I may be stabbed, punched, etc. by my fiance before the wedding if im not in tip top shape.

Wedding plans are pretty much done except for a few things here and there, so it should be a fun time to be had by all. We still couldn't get a car that we wanted to we'll probably end up driving ourselves everywhere which I guess is ok and we're saving money. The money we had for our car we will just put towards the wedding or a swimming with the dolphins adventure in Maui.

I might blog another time this week but if I don't the next time I do Ill be a married man, so ladies tell your friends to stop hounding me as Im off the market.

For me the season is over and Im looking forward to March 30, 2009 where we try to do it again. I don't want to get started on what happened last night as my blood pressure will rise again and Ill begin cursing as I did last night probably scaring my illegal immigrant neighbors again.

Ill just leave you with this. If a runner goes home and runs over a catcher, if the ball is in his glove then falls out when he hits the ground the runner is considered safe. At third base apparently not.....

In case any of you were unaware, there is only 1 October! Between that and Frank TV promos this is getting rediculous.

Angels down 2-1 game 4 tonight, and Im not sure if I can handle anymore. Between the games and the wedding I have hair turning grey, falling out, and blood pressure rising.

Wedding is only a little under 2 weeks away and things are looking good.

BTW anyone know of anyone that has a classic car that wants to drive us around for a hour or so on the wedding day?

Postseason baseball starts tonight. Angels have the best record in baseball, but we pulled Boston for the first round. While this year Boston is not the same team, it still makes me nervous playing them in the first round after the past 4 years.

Wedding is 15 days away and the World Series is the same timeline as the honeymoon, thankfully Laura is a sports fan so I might be able to catch a few games while enjoying the beaches of Maui.

My work is throwing me a bachelor party tonight so that should be fun, and Im interested to see what they come up with. I just had my bachelor party with my groomsmen and friends this past weekend and Ill get some pictures up soon. We behaved ourselves and spent most the night in the hotel playing Rock Band 2, woot!

So what, that teaches those kids that for the rest of their lives, if someone is better you shouldn't play? Story Here.
Laura and I had this conversation in Vegas as well. When we were kids we were outside till it was dark and later, played in the street, drank out of the hose among other things. Now kids stay inside with games, get fat, drink only bottled water, have 150 vaccines and visit starbucks daily. I know everyone has their personal views on how things are done but I mean come on let your kids live a little and remove the stick.

Birthday Party

So had my birthday on Monday and turned the big 30. On Sunday, Laura said we were going to her brothers house for a bbq so I thought it sounded fun as they always have lots of food and beer so I was game. When we pulled up there was nobody in the driveway except for Lauras brothers car on the street. I really didn't think anything of it as his friends are usually late and I figured we'd have to clean before they got there. When we walked into the house my eyes were still adjusting when I saw about 25 figures and a big "suprise!" yelled throughout the house. So sneaky Laura pulled off a suprise party without me knowing. My whole family was there and some friends from in town and from out of town which meant alot because they had to drive an hour to get there.

The day consisted of pizza, beer, and brownies what more could I really ask for? My sister and nephew made an awesome video which Im trying to figure out how to upload to YouTube. It had pictures from when i was a kid till now which was emotional, aw....It was my first real birthday party in a long time so it meant alot that everyone would come and that somehow with laura working 2 jobs and planning a wedding she could still pull this off. I can barely handle sitting here at a desk 8 hours a day.

The next day my actual birthday I thought Id be productive and work on Lauras car because it had multiple problems including dieing on me in the middle of katella and tustin. I really couldn't take it anymore, so Laura and I went to the automall just to look around. 7 hours later and a lot of $$ lighter in our account we came home with a 2008 Honda Accord EXL (pics to follow). So all in all it was a very good birthday.

Well the wedding is fastly approaching and things are getting exciting around the house. I didn't think we could do it but pretty much everything is done, I know amazing right? If you know us you know this is a amazing thing to accomplish.

The other day I sat down and found us a Day of Coordinator, because let's face it someone needs to be there calling the shots the day of, and I don't want to be the one doing it. This lady we found could be the smartest move we have had yet. For a awesome price she will be running the rehearsal and also be there on the wedding day from 10am till midnight and had a bunch of great ideas we didn't even think of. After this meeting you could tell about 1000lbs was lifted off Lauras and I shoulders.

Besides that nothin much going on except the Angels clinching the west division and that we may have to move soon (to be blogged soon) because of a cranky neighbor that is taking a vengence and taking all of us down with her....

Well the title kinds of sums up my softball game last night. About 545 I got a message that my old team needed a sub at 6pm so I decided to go ahead and play since I haven't played in awhile. The team we were playing have been known to whoop on everyone so I wasn't that excited once I found that out. The game went pretty well and we did tie in extra innings.

But why the title summed up my game. I guess working out at the gym the past month has been good for my upper body strength. I was playing 3rd base and as one of the girls on the other team was coming my direction she decided not to slide, this could of saved some pain from both parties. My pitcher cut off a ball and threw a perfect strike to me. As I caught it I assumed she was sliding so my glove went down and in a split second I noticed she was standing. So as I went to tag her my are ended up inbetween her legs full forced and I preceded to probably hurt her chance for children in the future, and throw her over the top of me landing behind me. I really didn't mean to but she was only 90lbs and I think the momentum of my tag and her kind of threw her over. Any way I wish I would of said "over and out" to her because it would of been funny. But the only thing I could come up with was a simple "ouch, are you ok?"

Ok maybe Im in the minority here but I get annoyed when people talk to me in the bathroom. I go in there for one purpose only and that is to take care of me business. Im not sure what you girls do so I can only take from the my restroom experiences. First of all the makers of these bathrooms treat us like farm animals. Many places just set up a metal trof that we all just go in and stand arm to arm in the battle of relief. Many times in the past few weeks I have been in a restroom where the guy next to me starts asking me things and the same when Im in the stall. I mean come on leave a brotha to do his business and step off. Then by the time your done it looks like 80% of the patrons of the bathroom are trying to be the next Hakeem Olajuwon and do fade away jumpers to the trashcan with their paper towels and missing horribly. Thats it I just needed to vent for a bit, thanks.

The Movies

Dont worry Im not going to spoil anything.

Well originally we had a master plan yesterday at the movies like we usually do. We bought our movie passes so we could get our discount. Our plan was to get tickets for Wall-E, even though I want to see this Im waiting for the DVD to come out. We really wanted to see House Bunny then the Rocker so we could finish up our all sunday comedy day. So we got there and skillfully walked into the house bunny where we come to find out the projector is broken, so the Rocker doesn't start for awhile so we figure hell lets go see The Dark Knight.

First off there is no need for batman to talk like that, in no other movies has he had to disguise his voice, and frankly it was just odd and I thought took away from some parts of the movie. So after seeing the movie, which is a great one we walked out and ventured over to House Bunny again. We walked in to a empty theater thinking it was strange, and within minutes a worker said that it wasn't working still and asked for our tickets. Being my quick thinking self I told him that we were told to see another movie and check this one again to see if it was up and running. He fell for it but the manager had it out for us. She followed us pretty much till we decided to just leave which is a first for us as we always see at least 2 movies.

One note: That Hamlet 2 movie looks pretty funny.

Was a funfilled weekend in San Diego. SeaWorld has added so much since last time I was there so it kept us busy for a full 9 hours. Our hotel was awesome and Im still suprised we got the discount we did for the room as it was within 200 feet from Petco Park where the Padres play. We also visited my favorite beer's brewary in escondido which is called Stone Brewary and they serve the ever tasty Arogant Bastard Ale. Here we ate a Buffalo Blue Cheese burger and Mac and Cheese with Beer Sausage, and for dessert a Beer Chocolate Cake which was awesome. All in all was a great time to get away, but now we're down to business with the wedding being 60 days away.

The wedding plans are running along smoothly. It's really amazing how Laura has been able to figure this whole thing out in just a few months. The only thing we haven't done is the easiest part and it's my fault, is get fitted for the tuxes. I guess I should do that soon seeing that it is a little over 2 months away. Im really excited about the Honeymoon, though we don't know where it is at yet. Im just excited to get the hell out of this state for a week and go somewhere else for once. I think Hawaii is the final answer on where we want to go now we just need to figure out where we want to go on one of the islands.

Olympics

The Olympics are starting tomorrow night and none of my friends/coworkers are really talking about it. I personally love when the olympics are going, probably just because I love sports. Actually Im proud when I see America win the gold and are up on the platform with our National Anthem playing, and I also get excited when a underdog wins a gold.

With that in mind, I seem to be the only person I know that feels uneasy about these olympic games. There is so much crap going on in China right now that I don't know what can happen there. Possibly because I just watched Munich the other day that has me on edge. Maybe Im just crazy thinking that something will happen, but hopefully it all goes as planned and there aren't any violent protests over there.

This is the first year the olympics are in HD, while I don't have a HD TV I just hope they have more coverage then usual, I mean seriously who doesn't want to watch fencing or rowing?

Unauthorized...

So Laura and I went to the OC fair last night to see a Journey tribute band "Journey: Unauthorized" and yes they were.

The night started off with us walking in to a "action sports arena" with about 25 people in the stands and already I knew this was going to rock. The stage was set up in the middle dirt area with 50 or so chairs right in front of it, and 1000's of sqft of empty dirt space around them in case we all got crazy and decided to rush the stage. The sound guy/roadie/tour de france competitor continuously rode his bike back and forth between the sound booth and the bathroom where they were staging this unauthorized band. After the 3rd time of going back and forth the roadie/lighting tech or whatever he was was back and was ready to rock. (insert arm and fist in the air with 2 head bangs)

So the show started and there was a pretty good crowd. The leader singer/fake Steve Perry began to move around almost falling off the stage and tripping over the lead guitarist, and this was before the first song. Laura and I knew we were in for a treat when we saw his long tailed white jacket and wig. They played all their hits along with a few some of us never heard of and I think the band has never heard of as well. One of the larger girls that was privileged enough to sit in the dirt attacked the lead singer and began to grope him until he could get away. Whenever there was a solo the spot light was on the wrong band member, and the singer was always on the opposite side of where it seemed he was supposed to be.

I did notice though that the lead singer seemed to micromanage a bit much as he visited the drums and keyboarder a lot looking over their shoulder through pretty much every song. They did put on a good show though and it felt like my version of seeing "Mama Mia" in the theaters as we were all dancing in the aisles to these great tunes. Anyway visit their site so you can get the full visual and I just noticed that the singer is wearing the same outfit he wore last night, and the lead guitarist looks like Ron Jeremy.

To all staff:

Please be on the looks out for a man wandering around the hallways. He is in his mid to late 20's, over 6 feet tall with a Angels hat on. He has been seen in the hospital 4 days in a row with different clothes but his hat doesn't seem to change. This person is wandering the hallways seemingly lost, but approach with caution as he looks unstable. Better yet, let him keep wandering the halls as he seems to be cursing at us under his breath. Today he was seen around the parking structure going from elevator to elevator because we decided we would turn off the elevators and we want our guests to walk 8 stories of stairs to get here. We would like to keep with our "Give our guests a heart attack" promotion to strum up business.

He was seen a few hours ago toward the short stay halls with a plant he must of stolen and some toiletrees from our hospital. We have been notified by a night nurse that he did attempt to speak to them but with sticking to our protocol the nurse just nodded and acted like they didn't understand english. We'd like to thank you for your continuous success in letting these people find their own way around the hospital.

For the night nurses continued service following our memorandum of understanding by just nodding and slowly walking away from the guest he will receive the employee of the month parking spot.

Well got back about midnight on Saturday from vegas $50 lighter, a few pounds heaver, and small percentage increase in blood alochol level. I got to the bus about 645am in the beautiful city of Norwalk (/sarcasm). It was the first time I met 95% of the people I was going to spend the next 15 hours with. Everyone was really great and by the time I got home from the trip it felt like Ive know these people for years. The theme of the day was 80's so we all got shirts if we weren't dress up and mine was bright green/yellow with "RockRoad?" on it from the infamous Goonies movie. The bus was full of beer, hard alcohol, twinkies, donuts, dingdongs and anything else you could think of to clog your arteries.

We got to stateline about 12pm and went over to the buffet for our free lunch which turned into a free breakfast which turned into what else do they have to eat at this place. I went to the three connecting casinos and lost most my cash and eventually made my way back to Buffalo Bills where most of our party was passed out or being sick in a few of the rooms they rented. We spent most of the afternoon in the bar receiving modified alabama slammers they called Nevada slammers (pretty clevor). The way home was pretty quiet as most of the people were recovering.

All in all it was a good trip though Im not sure if I would do the turnaround trip again, its always nice to have a room in vegas you can go veg in or actually be in a real casino you can do other things in besides gamble.

So Im going to Vegas this weekend with a long time friend for her Bachelorette/Bachelor party. They are renting a party bus to do a sort of "turn around" trip on Saturday. Im excited to go as I haven't been to vegas since the debacle of 2007. I thought I had blogged about this but who knows where it ended up. So I started thinking of that trip and my old bowling team and why Im happy not to be a part of it anymore. I may need to do a blog on bowling leagues soon. Anyway this weekend should be some fun as I get to dress 80's style which Im hoping they have an outfit for me because Im to busy with the wedding to go shopping for something. Luckily their wedding is soon so they understand my excuse.

We finished registering this week over at bed bath and beyond. It took a few days to get everything we wanted. We added many things on there I never knew they made or that I wanted. The lady there was real nice and helped us pick some very nice china and other items out. Im mostly excited about the pillows and showerhead I picked out.

Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric anxiety disorder most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive, distressing, intrusive thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or "rituals") which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.

So Ive noticed lately that I have 3 things that drive me crazy and I find myself fixing them. The first 2 I have been doing for years but the last one I just realized yesterday I was doing it after about the 10th time.

1. Making sure that all the toothpaste tubes are squeezed from the bottom to the top every day: Whenever I see toothpaste at my house your house anyones house and I noticed it was squeezed in the middle, I feel the need to fix it and squeeze it from the bottom to even it out.

2. Toilet Paper: For some reason it drives me mad when toilet paper comes from bottom of the roll then the top. Maybe its because I think the paper is touching the wall when it is hanging there or who knows. I just need it to be unrolled from the top not underneath.

3. Chairs: Whenever I see a chair that is not shoved under its table, desk, etc. I feel the need to do it. I noticed yesterday at work while going to check my box I fixed the same chair at least 5 times. I think someone was toying with my emotions.

So haven't written in awhile because of my sickness funk. Took a vacation last week and was sick a few days during that because of a morning star sausage that poisoned me. I moved my mom into a new house, got the best video game ever, saw a 21 month old drink a monster energy drink, saw 3 angels games at the stadium, watched some lame movies, and drank bloody beer with a 85 year old man while watching the same 21 month old chew the paint off a wall.

Well Im back after a few weeks of pain and ready to rock. Today is my first day where I haven't had a itchy eye, a cough or a sore throat. Luckily Laura put up with me for the past month as Ive been on my downward spiral.

Jakes 4th bday party is this weekend which should be fun, it's pirate theme so Im hoping to find a costume. I asked if he wanted me to do snow white and he said no so maybe Ill do Elizabeth Swan. Im thinking it will be too hot though.

Some good news, Laura should be starting her career by next week working as a Chiropractor which is exciting. I should have more details soon.

Throat Gate: Day 3 (cont)

So just as in my favorite show LOST, throat gate took a unexpected turn today. I was sitting on my couch with my cat and computer watching idol gives back and admiring Miley Cirus (sp?) and her skills with flipping her hair thinking "wow my throat is feeling a bit better, maybe this is the last of it". As Laura got ready to go I started getting this minor headache and had to shut the blinds because even a bit of light was too much.

So after a hour of watching some more idol gives back and being emotional the death in my throat in an instant takes a detour and heads down to my stomach. I run a 4.3 40 to the bathroom (you'll have to ask your local sports fan what this means) and proceed to get rid of 6 months worth of food and beverages for the next 4 hours till my personal Dr. Laura got home. I thought I was dying, it was the worst Ive felt since I had food poisoning so I thought that was it. So Laura got home and treated as best she could and thought of phoning the hospital because I was like the Linda Blair in my bed almost complete with a rotating head. So after all this takes place I take a small nap on the floor in our bedroom with cooking pot by my side (I know you like details) and slept on a hard floor. I eventually made my way up to the bed where I slept a few more with both cats staring at me wondering why Daddy is make noises like a animal in pain. So I just woke up about 20 minutes ago and the pain is gone thank god, the headache is there a bit and my throat is now just raw. Luckily I can swallow unlike the last few weeks so that's a good sign.

So the way it looks now that as long as the rawness (word?) goes away I think Throat Gate may conclude soon.

Of course I would of been cured a few weeks ago if I would of known about this secret ZPac so many people speak of, but they must like to see me in pain :P.

Throat Gate: Day 3

Im reporting today from my new sanctum. A couch, a cat, a laptop and a endless supply of netflix movies. Went to the doc and they took a culture. We're hoping by the end of the weekend it will be gone so I can go back to somewhat normal. In the meantime I just noticed back to the future I, II, and III is on HBO on demand, so that will keep me busy today.

Throat Gate: Day 1 (kind of)

Well Ive had my throat of death for a few weeks now but it's worse then ever today so Im calling this day 1 of throat gate. It's pretty much come to the point that Im having trouble swallowing foods that are rough, ie (everything that isn't yogurt). Ive come to a few conclusions in throat gate that could be the reason for my pain.

1. Trader Joes has poisoned me
2. My buildings ventalation system has poisoned me
3. I watched the movie Sicko and Im so paranoid Ive poisoned myself with worry
4. None of the above that for once Im actually sick and refuse to give in
5. All of the above (which is really how much Im in pain right now)

Now I figure most of those are untrue but something must be going on. Im hardly ever sick, and when I am its over within a day or less. The most Ill get is a headache or some stomach pains but Im usually over it by the end of the day.

Ive worked in the county almost 9 years now and Ive taken more sick days in the past 2 weeks then the last 9 years combined. (By the way, I bleed Orange because Im so dedicated).

So I will continue to follow throat gate and may have talk to my sources Deep Throat and Sore Throat, but I will keep you updated.

So I just joined Netflix this week and have been taking advantage of it by watching a few documentaries this week. One that really caught Laura and I's attention is about WalMart.

Coincidently enough there was a controversial lawsuit with WalMart just last week. While they had the legal right to sue for their money back it still seems a little heartless. Please read the article below.

Long Day, Day 2, bleh....

So go a call from my sis this morning and we decided to take a field trip. We started off at fairhaven cemetary to visit my great grandparents grave as I don't remember really every seeing it as I was pretty young. We went buy dropped some flowers off and was amazed by how old some of the headstones were. My dad says most of our ancestors are buried there and in pretty much the same section. After that we decided to go visit the site where my grandma will be buried coming up soon. This is the national cemetary in Riverside next to March Air Force base. Its nice because after my grandpa died they gave the plot next to him for my grandma for free because he was in the service. We went there today and it was a rough experience.

I haven't really broken down much yet since this has been going on but between being at my grandpas gravesite for the first time in 23 years, knowing my grandma will be there by next week and the 4-5 funerals going on there was a little too much to bare. Also didn't help that the funeral next to us was doing the 21 gun salute. I was somewhat able to play the toughguy while I sat there with my sister and nephew but not sure how well it showed.

So after this we go off to my dads again and go through more pictures for a few hours for next weeks celebration we are going to do for her life. THis was hard as every picture my dad saw of his dad or mom he began crying which isn't something Ive really seen before. We found pictures of great great grandparents, my grandmas birth certificate, her baby pictures, my grandpas dog tags and war medals and the saddest part was the flag that was on his casket. It was very interesting though just seeing your whole familys history and we found a family tree book that dates back to the early 1800's so we're hoping to use ancestry.com to do more research.

Thats about it for now, but Ill give some more details on the celebration of her life events tomorrow or this weekend.

Well as some of you know, my grandma passed away about 24 hours ago. She has been sick off and on for years now and very sick for the past month. This is my last grandparent so its been pretty rough for me and my sister. Our grandfathers died 1 before we were born and the other when we were very young. Our grandmother died when I was 12 and it was a pretty quick downhill slide, or to me it seemed like it was so I took it pretty hard. My dads mom "Aggie" Agnes who passed away like I said had been sick for awhile so I have been able to brace myself a bit for it.

So I took the day off today and went with my sister to go visit my dad and see how he was doing as our family is going through all sorts of drama right now that Im looking forward to blogging about soon. He had been there last night right after she passed away, and he told us that the nurses called him and my aunt to come see her as she was requesting it, so she must of known it was about to end.

My grandma left a handwritten note about 5-6 years ago after her first heart attack saying how she didn't want any services and to take off her jewelry before she was buried, (side note: whenever anyone new came over she held on to everything valuable to her as she thought everyone would steal it, so Im guessing the same went for her jewelry). So we aren't having a funeral service for her just a gathering once the headstones are complete. She will be buried with my grandpa at the national cemetary in Riverside.

A few of the creepy things during the past few weeks happened while she was there. I had a dream I was at her hospice talking to her and she said my grandpa was helping her pack for her to move on. Today, my dad said she told him that my uncle who is also deceased came and talked to her in the room on Monday.

Anyway Ive rambled on long enough and you get the jist, but thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Very Emotional

It was a very emotional viewing of American Idol last night. It was just "T.M.T.H". But then LOST started and I was able to stabilize my emotions and it became I.C.H.I.A.L.B (I can handle it a little bit).

Sauna Time

So Laura and I got a membership at a local gym thats open 24 hours trying to shed some lbs and get in shape for the upcoming wedding. I didn't realize that the sauna could be so entertaining.

Now I typically am only in there from 5-10 minutes at a time, because if I was in any longer it would of probably been really entertaining as I would probably pass out. So last week Im in there and there is a guy in his speedos that looks like bigfoot sweating rediculously, a girl with her ipod going and stretching (yes its coed). Personally if Im in a place where Im sweating a lot of in steam Id avoid taking electronic equipment in to avoid any electricutions. There is also a 350+lb guy in there training for his next ufc fight, or at least that how it seems.

For the whole 10 minutes I was in there he was stretching, shadow boxing, grunting, and banging his frozen gatorade bottle over his head trying to unfreeze it. So after watching this for my time in there I came to the conclusion his whole purpose for going into the sauna was to defrost his gatorade and he was grunting because he was frustrated that the dry sauna wasn't doing the job. He also could of been shadow boxing because he was trying to keep away the sweaty hairy guy.

Though one good thing is that there was a copy of the sports page on the ground soaking wet with who knows what but I could still read the section about the Angels.

I realized last night that I did have a few of these. When Laura came home from work I tried to hide it but I think she saw me doing and probably just laughed because its me.

#2 - BBC/ESPN England - I can't stop watching soccer/football and cricket
#1 - This is the one I was caught at last night. A xbox 360 game called Thrillville. I mean Im 29 so its bad enough I still play games, but this game is designed for little kids, even in the game the main character refers to me as a "kid" multiple times. Whats worse is that while building my theme park my little guy tried to flirt with another teenager and she ran away screaming....

Oh ya forgot to mention the game consists of Miley Cirus, Jonas Bros, and other fun groups. Sadly, I find myself singing these songs today and becoming excited when they are on the radio.

Also some more exciting news, Laura and I are starting a vision board. So Im sure this will make the top 3 soon as well. (Luckily only a few of you that read this know what that is).

When not to be cheap....

So I thought I would save a few bucks today and go to the student salon in the Orange Circle today and lunchtime to get a haircut. By the time I sat in the waiting area I felt like I was at "the Maxx" and we were about to play a prank on "Valley". I should of known things were going to be bad when I hear over a loud megaphone "Can I have a volunteer for a Men's haircut". If it was Laura Im sure she would of ran out but she sat down knowing that this wasn't going to turn out pretty.

So me and my hairdresser sat down with all his tatoos and piercings, though not gay to my suprise. I told him how I like my hair done and he went to work. Within 5 minutes I looked like this:

Anyway after he says hes finished he gets his teacher to check it out and then she goes to work on me as well. I think she did a worse job. So now Im debating if Im going to take the rest of it off or not.

So memo to myself, don't be cheap when it comes to haircuts.

I am in pain from the move. Everything is finally moved in and moved to storage. We have about 6 sqft to move in our bedroom and the cats finally came out of hiding this morning. Not sure how long we'll last here as I didn't realize how small and cramped the house seems now. We may be on the road again. But hell thats what makes me and laura, me and laura. We do things on the fly.

My first day back at work and all is well except of course for the pain. Had a really fun New Years with all the family, well most anyway. My bro turned 22 and going to Vegas this weekend, wish I could go but Im saving up for the wedding and possible next move. Hopefully he'll win a jackpot and give me some or at least buy me Guitar Hero and Rock Band for my xbox.

On the road again...

As I type this Im sitting in a empty apartment with only a few objects hoping for a new home. Its 830am on a Monday and we just finished moving a 730sqft apartment into a storage unit 5x10 and a 11x10 bedroom, in the rain. Though we are saving a lot of money by living in a smaller place we will be happy when we can move into a larger one.

We sent all of Lauras stuff into the state so it's just a matter of time before she can begin practicing which will be great, as we can save up a lot faster for the wedding and she can have the one of her dreams.

I had a rough new years, as I was 50% drunk and %50 sick by the time the night was over. Coughing, Sneezing, Aching then the other you got the idea from the alcohol. So New Years Day I spent watching the roseparade over and over in bed while Laura was at Disneyland.

Thats it for now, but Im sure Ill will begin to blog a lot more this year as Laura and I will be hiding out in our rooom looking for an outlet to our insanity.

Too Damn Cold

So I woke up a few days in a row now at 430am to take a morning run and do some working out to get ready for the wedding. All I know is that it's too damn cold outside. I where full sweater and after running 1.5 miles I have to go into the sauna to warm up from the run that I just had.

I finally bought myself an MP3 Player and could be the last person in Orange County to do so. I don't know why I waited this long to get one as it was really easy and 100 times easier then the IPOD I had to do for Laura.

I should get a few more posts in before xmas as we're slowing down right now at work, hopefully I have something interesting to tell.

Nothing new and exciting going on. Hopefully finished with my work issue that Im dieing waiting to tell somebody about but can't as of 245pm today hopefully soon though.

Jake had his first tball game this weekend and that was a lot of fun and he was smiling yet serious at the same time.

Lauras final test is this weekend to get her California license. She is confident that she will pass as so am I. She explains some of this stuff to me and I look at her notecards and I am clueless on whats going on. But ask me how to find the 115 hidden items in Saints Row for xbox 360 and Ill take you there.

All in all a pretty quiet week, we got thanksgiving coming up which should be fun as the whole family will be together.
